Original Toronto Star caption: Talk about your financial circles. The photographer describes the picture above as Toronto's towering financial buildings as might be seen by a sewer engineer. The 360-degree view was made using a fisheye lens; pointing upward; while standing in the Toronto-Dominion plaza; facing the Royal Trust tower. The TD bank tower is to the left. Now; says the photographer; go around the clock and it all works out. The dark curve at the top is the one-storey TD banking pavilion. Jutting downward is the new Commence tower; with part of the old Commerce tower beside it. Next the Bank of Nova Scotia; then the new Montreal bank tower. Right? Well; we had better start all over again ... there's the TD tower...then...
