Nicole DiNardo; a Toronto businessman; is responsible for building the $1;000;000 La Rotonda; a structure he hopes will polarize social activities of Toronto's 300;000 Italian community. The coliseum-shaped structure awaits a liquor license.

He wants money: Dr. Mario Piacenza of the southern Italian town of Altomonte is in Toronto lookin for funds to build a school for peasant children. He's hoping to get it from the parents of the children he's leading here - natives of Alomonte who left their home town for North America. So far, he's visited 7 cities on a 3-month North American tour but has raised only $2,000 of the $20,000 he needs. He's had a picnic with Altomonteans here and plans another one.
