Original Toronto Star caption: A transformation will take place on the site of St. Andrew's Church on Bloor St. just east of Yonge during the next two years. The United Church congregation has decided to give a 99-year lease to Eastburt Group Ltd.; which will build two 18-storey office lowers and provide space for the church and it offices on the first and second floors. The church tower will be retained; as shown n the model at right; to identify the location and provide a link with the past. Work should start in fall.
