Following a meeting of the congregation of St. James' United church; it was decided to close the doors of the old church and accept the offer of the Bond St. United Church. St. James' Square church; shown in the photograph has been on its present site for half a century. W. H. Nicholls; inset; has been caretaker of the old church for 21 years and will sever many old time associates by the move.
