Original Toronto Star caption: Before X-Rays; a horse is given anesthetic at the Humber College Equine Centre; where the Ontario Veterinary Association held a seminar in radiology last night. There are more horses in Canada today than ever before; yet some practising veterinarians have never treated horses and need to know how. At the Equine Centre; veterinarians perform three or four operations a week; primarily on race horses and jumpers. Removing bone chips is the most common.
