Original Toronto Star caption: There are 72 rides to try at the CNE and this happy pair seems to be well into the swing of things as Metro's annual Ex-travaganza opened its doors yesterday. Midway supervisor Colin Forbes says about 75 per cent of midway riders are over 16. I think everybody is a kid . . . they are only as old as they fee and midway provides them with an opportunity to feel young. He says there is a ride for every taste and stomach but there are complaints of cost and the shortness of time. CNE President Julian Porter says rides are kept short to avert nausea.
