At the end of the day, a six-inch soil cover is added. Land-fill has improved some Metro parks and created a ski hill in Etobicoke. But land-fill sites are getting scarce. Beare Road Landfill, bounded by Finch Avenue East to the north, Scarborough-Pickering Town line to the east, hydro corridor to the south, and CN rail line to the west.
