Original Toronto Star caption: Harborfront '74; which eventually will be an 86-acre park along the lakeshore from Bathurst St. to York St.; opened Saturday with five programs of music; strolling musicians and gymnastics demonstrations performed by the Mississauga Gym Club; composed of girls aged 8 to 15 led by head coach Susan Harris. Those planning the lakeshore park want the residents of Metro to look over the mills and rubble-filled vacant lots and decide what they'd like to see created.
