Original Toronto Star caption: Tiniest house here has elevator that doesn't run. Toronto's smallest building at 99 1/2 Sydenham street; shown here; has one story and is eight feet wide and 34 feet deep. Harry Rosenberg; Kensington place; bought it recently for $150 and is renovating the structure to make a dwelling. It was built in 1916 as a butter and egg warehouse. It has an elevator-which doesn't work; being too large for the basement. The property; exclusive of the structure; is assessed at $485 value. Taxes are about $10 a year. The picture gives an idea of the size; as compared with an adjoining house.
