Original Toronto Star caption: The post post: The post office didn't miss a trick when it put up mail boxes in downtown Toronto in the early part of the century - besides serving as letter drops; they also dispensed stamps and had miniature billboards on top. This photo; taken at Yonge and Richmond Sts. in 1916; is from the department of public works collection in the City of Toronto Archives. For further information; call the archives at 947-7483.
