NotesOriginal Toronto Star caption: Hospitals in Toronto, Riverdale The Swiss Cottage Hospital, part of the Riverdale Isolation Hospital, was used for smallpox patients. It opened in November 1901, and was designed by Toronto architect George Robinson Harper (1843-1910).
