Original Toronto Star caption: Accommodation for 270 patients in hospital of latest design. Official opening of Our Lady of Mercy hospital at Sunnyside; just completed by the Sister of St. Joseph; is scheduled for this afternoon. Marking a new step forward in hospitalization in Canada; the hospital is the first to be designed from its inception for the special care of incurable patients. It will accommodate beds for 270 patients and 22 sister. There will also be a chapel; auditorium and a large modern laundry. Marani; Lawson and Morris were the architects; and the Pigott Construction Co. of Hamilton had the contract.
