Original Toronto Star caption: Centre of controversy between the Toronto Housing Authority and the city's parks and recreation committee is this courtyard at Regent Park North; shown looking south. The authority wants to use the land for a $1;000;000 seven-storey low rental apartment building. The parks committee wants it for a recreation centre. Ironically; the recreation centre suggestion came from Thomas Bell; a Regent Park resident and THA supporter.
