Original Toronto Star caption: Haggis feature at highlanders' ball. The photograph here shows the haggis that will be the epicurean supper feature at the 48th Highlanders' ball at the Royal York hotel to-night. This ancient Scotch delicacy was prepared by Chef. J. M. Cherrier of the Royal York hotel. The haggis has 18 different ingredients. Some of which are: Scotch oatmeal; liver; heart; trimmings with a dash of Scotch whiskey. Mr. Cherrier acquired his experience of haggis making while employed in Scotland.
