Original Toronto Star caption: Honor Sculler's Mother. Nearly two hundred Dufferin school old girls entertained at a luncheon to-day for Mrs. Joe Wright, Sr., mother of the Toronto boy who won the diamond sculls at Henley this year. Mrs. Wright who is shown above, attended old Dufferin school in 1877, and the women who remember as Lietha Spink of pigtail and pinafore days arranged the party in her honor today and presented her with the silver replica of the old belfry and bell of Dufferin school shown above. It was made from the bell with used to call the boys and girls to classes every morning. Mrs. T. J. Jackson, a former classmate of Mrs. Wright, made the presentation.
