Original Toronto Star caption: End of the line was reached today for the Bay St. streetcar service which was discontinued with the opening of the University Ave. subway. About 50 members of the Upper Canada Railway Society were aboard the last car to make the run. Bay St. will now be served by buses. On man; John Eagle; came all the way from Columbus; Ohio; to have the last ride.
