Original Toronto Star caption: Riverdale zoo; in the heart of downtown Toronto; is a perennial favorite with young animal lovers. Zoo officials try hard to enforce a don't feed the animals edict but most visitors; like this young couple; tend to ignore the rule. Not that peanuts are the most appropriate diet for fawns! Zoo is open daily from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.; admission is free; and it can be reached by TTC.
