Original Toronto Star caption: Prices in the capital city of Caracas (above); are among the highest in the world; except for gasoline. Cars are cheap to drive and worth the traffic headache just for the thrill of saying fill'er up to the tune of less than 25 cents a gallon. Traffic is fairly quiet in this scene; but there are more cars per capita in Venezuela than in any other South American country; and the roads do not come close to handling the jams that occur in every town during daily rush hours. The climate is just about ideal.
