The Star inaugurates to-day its pneumatic tube system from the City Hall to the copy desk in the editorial room of The Star building. Copy from City Hall; courts and police beats will reach The Star in 70 seconds. It is the first time on record that a newspaper has established direct tube connection with headquarters of a beat.
