Original Toronto Star caption: Two works of Dr. F. C. Banting. Above are two oils from the brush of Dr. F. C. Banting, the discoverer of insulin, who for the moment has forsaken science for art. His two canvases are the sensation of Hart House Sketch Club's first public exhibition now on view at Hart House. The camera has possibly done more justice to the sharp architectural outlines of the tumble-down house to the more subtle graduations light and shade in the north landscape. Dr. Banting, in spite his broken house and scrambled is not a follower of Lawren H and the School of Seven. If he resents a school it is rather medical school. [Incomplete]
