Original Toronto Star caption: Not so many years ago, Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert crossed the continent in a bus, riding into a flock of cinema honors in a film called, It Happened One Night. That film, as you will recall, made motion picture history, starting as it did, the screwball type of comedy. Here's practically the same story on Barrie as the spoiled heiress and Gene Raymond as the young man. That, however, is as far as the comparison goes, for, despite the fact that it's breezy, likeable little yarn with a scriptful of fresh dialogue, Cross Country Romance no Academy award [Incomplete]
