Original Toronto Star caption: Preserved in oils: Alex Baumann (right) of Sudbury poses with his portrait and the artist, Ken Danby, who celebrated the double gold medal victory in the Los Angeles Olympic with a portrait in the pool. The painting was unveiled at the Art Gallery of Ontario yesterday and celebrated the first swim gold medal ever won by a Canadian in 72 years of Olympic trying.
