Original Toronto Star caption: By Joe Sege Toronto Star; Country and western singer Glen Campbell will be appearing with the Toronto Symphony March 21, at a benefit pops concert at Roy Thomson Hall in aid of the Canadian Native Arts Foundation. The symphony will perform under the baton of guest conductor John Kim Bell, a Toronto Mohawk Indian - the first North American Indian to become a symphony conductor. Beil created the foundation last year. Bell, 33, is staging a series of benefit concerts across Canada this year to put the foundation on a solid financial footing. He envisons a trust fund of about $2 to $3 million within a few years. The foundation, which has an office in Toronto, is based at The Woodland Indian Cultural Educational Centre, on the Six Reserve in Brantford. [Incomplete]
