Memorable day

Original Toronto Star caption: Memorable day: It was a day of honors yesterday for Marilyn Bell, who unveiled this plaque to open a park on the lakeshore named for her, then officially opened the CNE. Toronto Mayor Art Eggleton (behind the swimmer) had earlier declared it Marilyn Bell Day. The park, opposite the CNE, is at the spot where Bell first swam in Lake Ontario when she was 12.
