Original Toronto Star caption: One of those nights: Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs played a little hockey last night, but this game will be remembered for the fights and silliness that resulted in 289 minutes in penalties. Even goalie Allan Bester, here sorting out the equipment, got into the act. He joined Oilers counterpart Grant Fuhr in a scrap and each earned a penalty for leaving his crease. Oilers won, 8-2, a form reversal from the clubs' earlier exhibition, won, 7-3, by Leafs.
