Original Toronto Star caption: Furniture gets aldermanic test. Alderman Irving Chapley tries out some of the office furniture being considered for North York's new civic building due for occupancy at the end of the year. Furniture is being stored in the new Board of Education Administration building. The borough has invited Prince Charles to officially open the building next March. The $16.2 million building, just north of the present muncipal building that has been sold to the provincial government, has a gross floor area of 220,000 square feet and six office floors.
