Original Toronto Star caption: Over to you: Jimmy Connors, the Wimbledon and U.S. Open champion, returns the ball to Jose Higueras in the final of yesterday's Molson Tennis Challenge. Connors put on a superb performance in defeating the Spaniard, 6-2, 6-0, 5-7, 6-0, to pocket $100,000. Higueras, ranked 11th internationally and a last-minute substitute for Bjorn Borg, went home with $50,000.
