Original Toronto Star caption: Just before the shooting of a movie started at the Scarborough Civic Centre, Mayor Paul Cosgrove presented actress Elke Sommer with a gold-crested brooch and bronze medallion as mementoes of her visit. After the one-minute ceremony, she started work on a film called Hugs and Kisses, inspired by the Demeter murder in Mississauga four years ago. Boxer George Chuvalo also has a part in the movie.
