Original Toronto Star caption: Still friends after campaigning against each other for mayor of Toronto, loser David Rotenberg (left) and winner David Crombie are near tears at Rotenberg's headquarters on Adelaide St. W. Even before going to his own victory party in St. Lawrence Market, Crombie had rushed to see Rotenberg, who finished a poor third. He refused to see Tony D'Donohue, with whom he traded charges during the campaign.
