Original Toronto Star caption: Tyrone, Ont. - A hometown boy made good yesterday for one of the few times in the history of Mosport Park, but for Jeremy Dale of Toronto, the high of winning a major race in the old backyard was tempered by controversy. Driving a year-old Nissan 300ZX, Dale won the Nissan Grand Prix in the Exxon Supreme GTS/GTO/GTU Series of the international Motor Sport Association by 18.332 seconds over teammate Steve Millen of New Zealand.
