Original Toronto Star caption: Second-year Leaf: It was all roses when Leaf owner Harold Ballard met with his No. 1 draft pick, Vincent Damphousse (at top, above). The talented forward had a strong rookie season, scoring 21 goals and assisting on another 25, but has had difficulty regaining that form in his sophomore year in the NHL.
