Original Toronto Star caption: Firefighting-then, and now. Toronto had the most modern fire fighting equipment of the early 1900's, with this horse-drawn portable water ower (top), in the days of the old Adelaide St. fire station that opened in 1907. Yesterday, station moved to new Adelaide st. site, three blocks west, and Mayor William Dennison checked shiny new gear (bottom).
