NotesOriginal Toronto Star caption: His life was Canada': Prime Minister Joe Clark praised John Diefenbaker in a graveside eulogy yesterday as a man who changed the vision of our country. A week of national mourning ended as the former prime minister was buried on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River, the coffin of his beloved second wife Olive at his side. He touched the lives of his fellow Canadians as no one ever will again, Clark said, as mourners stood in the sunshine at University of Saskatchewan.
