Original Toronto Star caption: This is the last year you can cut your own Christmas tree for $10 - about half the prevailing price - to help Murray Dryden remarkable charity. Dryden scraped together $18,000 to buy three farms in the 1950s. Now, at 77, he expects to sell them for $3.5 million. All the money will go to his cause, which has provided beds for 148,600 Third World children since 1970.
