Original Toronto Star caption: Dunnell beats the odds. Veteran Star sports columnist Milt Dunnell, who turns 81 on Christmas Eve, beams over an early gift he received at last Friday's literary society meeting. Dunnell, for the first time in 60 years as an avid poker player, was dealt a Royal Flush. According to Hoyle, the odds against such a hand are 65,000 to 1 -- but no one who has played against Dunnell was the least bit surprised.
