An early end

Original Toronto Star caption: An early end: Nicky Furlano; right; used some solid punches to the mid-section of Larry Moore of St. Albans; N.Y. to score a third-round technical knockout in their bout at the CNE Coliseum. Moore was knocked to his knees once in the first round and twice in the third of the scheduled 10-rounder. Furlano goes against Jean Lapointe of Montreal on March 7 at the Montreal Forum. The last time they fought Furlano suffered seven-stitch cut from a butt.
