Down and out

Original Toronto Star caption: Down and out: Chuck Spicer lies on the canvas after being knocked out by Nickey Furlano in last night's lone pro bout on card at Queen City Boxing Club. Spicer was decked late in second round by a flurry of punches from the promising 18-year-old Furlano. The fight was an obvious mismatch as Furlano dominated his opponent from the beginning. A second pro bout didn't take place when one of the boxers failed to appear. Amateur boxers put on best show.
