Metro Chairman Ab Campbell (left) uses a map of the way Metro looked when it was first formed in 1953 to explain to the 5,000,000 Americans who tune in NBC's Today show just how the Toronto area has grown. Listening to his three-minute summary of Metro history are show commentators Joe Garagiola and Barbara Walters; and the show's host Hugh Downs (right). It was the last of two Metro telecasts among five Today shows made in Canada.
