Original Toronto Star caption: Awaiting the word of Toronto's voters in today's civic elections are the two leading contenders for the mayoralty; Mayor Philip Givens (left) and Controller Allan Lamport (right). Helping Mr. Givens relax at home are his wife; children Eleanor; 14; and Michael; 5; and the family pet; Keena. Even without help; Mr. Lamport is doing an excellent job of taking it easy in his Harper Ave. home. The long weeks of electioneeering are over and there's nothing further for the candidates to do but await the verdict of the polls. Voting hours in the elections throughout Metro today are from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
