Original Toronto Star caption: Postal driver abducted. Witness Heidi Ahreus (right) saw the mail truck (left) and the van (below) being driven off. Police found the abandoned mail truck half an hour later on York Mills Rd. Mrs. Ahreus said one mailman had hust delivered a registered letter when the abduction started: I was standing at my front door; talking with the mailman; when a young iad ran up the road shouting 'your Mail truck has been taken by some men.
