Original Toronto Star caption: Policemen search for clues in the field where Constable David Goldswrothy was found beaten and slot to death early this morning. Goldsworthy was patrolling a factory district in the Finch Ave.-Weston Rd. area when he was attacked. Police later found that a building nearby had been broken into and a small safe taken. Police Chief James Mackey wants a $5;000 reward posted for slayers.
