Original Toronto Star caption: Princess Alexandra opened an exhibit entitled Modesty to Mod at the Royal Ontario Museum yesterday and found the display of garments dating back 175 years most intriguing. Mrs. K. B. Brett; curator of textiles; conducted the princess and her husband; Angus Ogilvy; and not one stop could she make without one of them offering some comical comment. One tea garden dress of the late 1860s particularly interested the princess because family portrait of her great-grandmother; Queen Victoria; showed same dress. Old-fashioned boots reminded her of childhood.
