Young Canada's nursery rhymes. Illustrated by Constance Haslewood. An abridged edition of Young England's nursery rhymes in a different format but with the same illustrations. Twenty-one poems are deleted. These include ''Queen Ann, Queen Ann'', ''Old King Cole'', ''Monday's child is fair of face'', and ''Rock a bye baby''. There is one textual change: the first line of the rhyme ''In the month of February, when green leaves begin to spring'' is changed to ''In the merry month of May''. Bound in pictorial boards, printed in colour, repeating the t.p. design. Undated. Date from inscription on flyleaf: Xmas 1888.
