Original Toronto Star caption: Going to bat for Sick Kids: Blue Jays pitcher Jim Gott gives an expert's touch to fit of cap on young patient Joe Steffler, 9, of Kitchener, yesterday at the Hospital for Sick Children. Gott was on hand for presentation of proceeds from mixed slo-pitch softball tournament in which his team, The Base Invaders, helped raise more than $4,000 for the hospital's Sports Medicine Clinic.
