Smith, founder of The Peoples Church. In an interview after the service, Graham warned a ''dangerous polarization'' is occurring in the U.S. between extreme Right and Left political groups. He contradicted observers who have reported a decline in religion in the U.S., and claimed ''there is really a revival going on,'' citing the success of his recent Pittsburgh crusade.
