Original Toronto Star caption: At 69, Dr. Joe Greenberg still makes house calls. He's still available just about any hour of the day. For 36 years he has been answering his own phone in the old office on Bathurst St. north of College. That's the area where he grew up, the son of a tubercular ritual slaughter and a mother who sold light bulbs to make ends meet. ''What I'm trying to do,'' he has said, ''is maintain a continued sense of the existence of my parents and their values.'' His hobby is sports medicine. He was a ''corner-man'' for two Canadian boxing champs, George Chuvalo and Clyde Gray, and is still a consultant to the Ontario Boxing Commission.
