Original Toronto Star caption: Adoring fans: TV soap star David Hasselhoff?Snapper on the Young and the Restless?was beseiged by thousands of screaming girls last night at the Towne and Countrye Square at Steeles and Yonge. The star's appearance left Constable Chico Ouellette of 32 Division with sore arms from holding back the enthusiastic women. At least one girl managed to get herself through the mob scene, right, for a real-life encounter with her idol. Some women waited from mid-afternoon for the actor's 7 p.m. appearance.
