Original Toronto Star caption: Reluctant runner: Kinkaid didn't seem to want to run for Sandy Hawley in the fourth race at Laurel yesterday as he has to be pushed into the starting gate. The 3-2 favorite later finished fourth. Hawley had only one win, with King of France in last race of the card, and that triumph gave him 497 for year and inched him closer to goal of 500. He also had one second and two thirds in his nine rides.
