Christmas time in another world

Original Toronto Star caption: Eskimo mother and child: Christmas time in another world. A Young Eskimo mother and child head to morning service at St. Luke Anglican Church at Pangnirtung, an isolated settlement on Baffin Island, 20 miles below the Arctic Circle. Services are a family affair and the baby will stay in the hood of its mother's parka. The 600 Eskimo men, women, and children of the settlement plus a few whites will crowd the wooden church this evening for a carol service. Tomorrow, there will be a feast and games in the community hall.
