Original Toronto Star caption: Missed tag: Royals' Frank White, top, touches first after eluding tag of Willie Upshaw, who was pulled off the bag by a throw from Tony Fernandez. At first White was called out, then safe. But the waffling by the umps was a little too much for Ernie Whitt to handle and he lets the home plate ump know it.
